Archie Panjabi Talks About Season 3 - Kalinda's Past, Will, Eli, and Reconnecting with Alicia

I came across this Associated Press interview with the lovely Archie Panjabi. She reveals some of the upcoming storylines and it looks like Kalinda will be Will's ally throughout this whole District Attorney's investigation ordeal. Also, she promises that we'll learn more about Kalinda's mysterious past.

S3E7 'Executive Order 13224' Recap

Yesterday's episode was the first of the season without Eli and it turned out to be one of the best so far. Here are some of my favorite moments:

1. Hey Mom Pick up the Phone: Was it the first episode of the show when they introduced Grace's ringtone? Who would have thought that two years later it would still be so relevant. I really liked the way this scene was written. It was subtle and even though I expected Diane to confront Will immediately, it's nice to have a little bit of tension. Also, Kalinda knows. Could this mean that she and Alicia might finally bury the hatchet? Please?

2. Carrie Preston is back: I'd completely forgotten about her but she really is amazing. Unlike so many other shows out there, TGW has come up with such unique and interesting characters and thankfully isn't above bringing them back again and again. I bet Elisabeth Tascioni would make a great divorce lawyer too...

3. Peter/Will: I was pleasantly surprised that Peter managed to do the right thing and stay out of the whole gambling investigation. In the past, it was always the other way around. Peter was the bad guy and Will the good guy, at least from Alicia's point of view. But it seems that as Will is being backed into a corner he is losing his cool and I have a feeling this won't end well. Also, he should come clean and tell Alicia about his past. Now.

Julianna Margulies Interview: On Work/Family Balance & Sex Scandals

GlobalTV.com has a great interview with our favorite leading lady, Julianna Margulies. She talks about why the show is flimed in New York instead of Los Angeles and what she thinks about the media coverage of sex scandals like the one Alica went through on the show. Here's an excerpt:

What are you most proud of professionally and personally? 
ER was a phenomenon and it was a great thing to be a part of. Proud is a funny word because it sounds so egotistical but I’m very happy to have been a part of it. But my most fulfilling job ever was The Mists of Avalon. I rode horses all my life and I got to ride horses. I was getting paid to ride horses. I grew up in England so I got to have my English accent. I couldn’t believe they were paying me to do that job. I was in heaven.

Archie Panjabi Talks About Her Philanthropic Work

We all may know and love her as Kalinda, the tough-as-nails private investigator, but if you've seen any of Archie Panjabi's movies (I highly recommend the Constant Gardener) you know that there is more to her than her The Good Wife character. Archive works with several different charities and is very concerned with making this a better world. She says that her mother and former co-star Angelina Jolie inspired her to get involved.
