LA Times Takes a Look at the Politics of The Good Wife

The Good Wife is getting quite a bit of press as we are heading towards the end of the season. The latest article, published yesterday, looks at the show's inclusion of current political events and how they make the show stand out. It shouldn't come as a surprise then that the writers of TGW rely heavily on news websites to shape the stories they want to tell:
"The Kings and their seven staff writers comb the headlines daily in search of ideas for the show. They say they tend to favor Web-based outlets like Politico, Talking Points Memo, Daily Kos and the Drudge Report." (LA Times)
The author of the article, Meredith Blake,  also claims that the show has a "liberal perspective." I don't know if I would necessarily agree with that since the characters on the show seem to mainly focus on what can win the case, not what is right or wrong. What do you think?
